How it works

If you've played a daily word puzzle before, you already know the feel.

1

Guess a 6-digit hex code

Each guess is a 6-character hexadecimal color code — the same format designers use every day. No color theory required.

2

Circles show how close you are

Green means the right digit in the right spot. Yellow means the digit appears somewhere in the code. Gray means it's not there at all.

3

Come back tomorrow

Every night at midnight a new color resets. Build a streak, climb the leaderboard, and keep your daily ritual alive.

Right digit, right position
Right digit, wrong position
Digit not in the code

Every day is a different colour

The whole app themes itself around whatever color you're guessing. Each puzzle feels entirely its own.

Questions

What is a hex color?
A hex color is a 6-character code made of digits 0–9 and letters A–F that describes any color a screen can display — for example #FF5733 is a vivid orange-red. Designers and developers use them everywhere.
Is Hexadle free?
Yes. The daily puzzle is completely free, forever. Hexadle Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks extra guesses, detailed post-game stats, and ad-free access. Individual extra-guess packs are also available as one-time purchases.
When does the color reset?
A new color becomes available at midnight in your local time zone. Your results are saved so you can always see how you did on any past day.
