How to play Hexadle
Guess the daily hex color in six tries. Here is how it works.
Hexadle is a daily color puzzle. If you have played Wordle, the rhythm will feel familiar: one puzzle a day, six guesses, and a set of clues that get you closer each time. Here is everything you need in about a minute.
The three steps
Type a 6-digit hex code
Every answer is a hex color like #4BB8A9. Enter any valid code made of the digits 0–9 and the letters A–F.
Read the clues
Each digit gets a colored circle telling you how close it is. Use those clues to narrow down your next guess.
Solve it in six tries
You have six guesses to land the exact color. Solve it, keep your streak alive, and come back tomorrow for a new one.
What the circles mean
After each guess, every digit gets a colored circle. It is the same feedback you already know from daily word games, so there is nothing new to learn.
Right digit, right position. Lock it in and move on.
Right digit, wrong position. It belongs somewhere else in the code.
The digit is not in today's code at all. Rule it out.
Tips to build your streak
Start with a spread of digits
Open with a code that mixes numbers and letters, like #3A9F1C. The more distinct digits you test early, the more you learn from the first row.
Trust the yellows
A yellow digit is in the answer, just not there. Keep it in your next guess and move it to a new slot.
Think in pairs
A hex code is three pairs: red, green, and blue. Higher first digits mean more of that channel, so #FF0000 is pure red and #000000 is black.
