The daily hex color game for iPhone
Guess today's color in six tries. Free on iOS.
Looking for a hex color game? Hexadle is a daily puzzle for iPhone: guess the day's color as a hex code, in six tries or fewer. Same rhythm as a word puzzle, built around the codes designers and developers already use.
The daily puzzle is free. Download the app, play today's color, and come back tomorrow for a new one.
How this hex color game works
Guess a hex code, not a word
Each answer is a 6-digit hex color like #4BB8A9. You type a code, see the color it makes, and use the clues to get closer.
Clues you already know
Green means the right digit in the right spot. Yellow means the digit appears somewhere else. Gray means it is not in today's code.
One puzzle a day
A new color lands at midnight in your local time. Keep a streak, check the leaderboard, and share your result when you crack it.
Built for iPhone
Hexadle is a free iOS app. Play on your phone, sync progress with Sign in with Apple, and take your daily puzzle with you.
Who it is for
If you pick colors in Figma, write CSS, or just like a short daily challenge, this game fits. You do not need to memorize codes first. A few rounds will teach you how hex maps to what you see on screen. New to the format? Start with how to play or what is a hex color code.
Hex color games on the web and on iOS
There are solid browser hex puzzles too, including games like Hexcodle. Hexadle is the iPhone version of that idea: a native daily habit with streaks, sharing, and an optional Plus upgrade for extras. If you want the Wordle-shaped comparison in more detail, see games like Wordle.
